About Narender Thapa Football Academy
Narendra Thapa Football Academy (NTFA) serves as the Regional Execution Partner (REP) for India Khelo Football (IKF) in Yamunanagar. The academy has partnered with IKF across multiple seasons, including Season 4 (2024) and Season 5 (2025–26), playing a key role in the on-ground execution of IKF Trials in the region. As the REP, NTFA is responsible for organising city-level trials, identifying hidden grassroots talent, and facilitating structured scouting opportunities for aspiring footballers. Successful players from these regional trials earn the opportunity to progress to the IKF National Finals, where they are evaluated by leading Indian and international clubs. The academy primarily utilises local school infrastructure to conduct its training sessions and trial events, ensuring accessible platforms for young players in the Yamunanagar region.

Activities with IKF
In collaboration with Shaz Football Academy, India Khelo Football (IKF) conducted city-level trials that witnessed participation from around 120 players, out of which 14 players were selected for the Zonal level. Similarly, in the Yamunanagar trials, strong participation and quality selections reinforced IKF’s core belief that talent exists in every corner of India. These trials reflect IKF’s mission to expand its reach nationwide, ensuring that deserving players from all regions receive equal opportunities to showcase their abilities and progress through the national scouting pathway.
