Football is more than just a game—it is a powerful tool for change, and Anaya Sehgal is proving just that. As an IKF Brand Ambassador and a passionate footballer from Singapore, Anaya is using her skills on the field to make a difference off it.
At just 16 years old, she is already making waves in the Singapore Women’s Premier League (“WPL”) and her High School Varsity team, where she scored a total of 14 goals in the 2024 season. For 2024 WPL season, Anaya played as a centre attacking midfielder for BG Tampines Rovers. For 2025 WPL season, she will be playing for Lion City Sailors. But beyond her personal achievements, she envisions a world where every girl, regardless of her background, gets the opportunity to play football—something many underprivileged girls in India can only dream of.
The Mission: Turning Goals into Opportunities
Anaya is on a mission to raise funds for football equipment for young girls in India who have the passion but lack the resources to play. With every goal she scores, she hopes to inspire contributions—where supporters can donate an amount for each goal, helping provide essentials like footballs, kits, and gear.
