The Story
Anaya Sehgal, a 17-year-old midfielder in the Singapore Women’s Premier League (WPL), is using her goals to ignite hope and opportunity for girls in India who lack basic equipment.
Ambitious Goal (let's change Mission to Goal)
At just 17 years old, she is already making waves in the Singapore Women’s Premier League (“WPL”) and her High School Varsity team, where she scored a total of 14 goals in the 2024 season and raised Rs 1 Lac. In the 2025 season she scored a total of 16 goals playing for Lion City Sailors in the WPL and her High School Varsity Team. But beyond her personal achievements, she envisions a world where every girl, regardless of her background, gets the opportunity to play football—something many underprivileged girls in India can only dream of.
The Mission: Turning Goals into Opportunities
Anaya is on a mission to raise funds for football equipment for young girls in India who have the passion but lack the resources to play. With every goal she scores, she hopes to inspire contributions—where supporters can donate an amount for each goal, helping provide essentials like footballs, kits, and gear.
Every rupee raised will go directly toward changing lives, giving these young girls access to a sport that can instill confidence, discipline, and hope for a better future.
