In Pune, India Khelo Football (IKF) conducts football trials in association with its Pune Regional Execution Partner, 4 Lions Academy, and this partnership has been successfully running for three seasons. 4 Lions Academy is a youth-focused football academy committed to technical excellence, physical fitness, and holistic player development through structured age-group programs, professional coaching, and regular match exposure. Operating in a disciplined, high-performance environment, the academy also partners with clubs such as Rising Pune FC to provide competitive pathways for aspiring footballers. Through this continued collaboration, IKF and 4 Lions Academy have consistently delivered quality trials, strengthening grassroots football and offering young players in Pune a reliable platform to showcase their talent.

Activities with IKF
India Khelo Football, in collaboration with 4 Lions Academy, has conducted 3+ trials across the season, with 450+ players participating in each trial, reflecting the strong reach and success of the initiative. The Pune trials are organised as two-day events and have consistently seen high turnout, making them one among the most successful trials of Season 5. As a result of these efforts, 45 players were selected for the Zonal rounds from the Pune trials, highlighting the effectiveness of the partnership in identifying and advancing grassroots talent.
